Land of Fairy Tales

Training course "Achieving Inner Harmony through Fairy Tales and Art" is in development. The planned location is Palanga, on the Baltic coast (Lithuania).
Youth leaders from different countries are invited to take part in the event's preparation.

The project aims to build an international network of youth workers and partnerships, with a special interest in supporting youth well-being through integrative practices (fairytale therapy, music and dance therapy, Healing Dialogue, etc.) and involving youth leaders who have children.

Land of Fairy Tales

The Concept
The program focuses on sharing experiences and learning how art and fairy tales can help you find harmony with yourself and the world around you.
Each participant (youth leader) is expected to prepare a topic related to youth work and present it to the rest of the group.

The suggested topics are:
• Fairy tale therapy.
• Music and dance therapy.
• Healing communication (healing emotional and psychological trauma through dialogue).
• Overcoming early-stage depression (including self-diagnosis tests for depression, anxiety, and burnout).
• Religious practices.
• Family traditions.
• Folk dances.
Practical NGO management questions:
• How to get to know your target group.
• How to attract and recruit volunteers.
• The volunteer’s code of ethics/conduct.
You are also welcome to suggest your own ideas.

The Vision
Imagine a 10-day stay in a peaceful rural guest house by the sea. The plan involves an international group exchanging knowledge on how to find balance within oneself and with the external world.

Family-Friendly
Parents can bring their children, as a separate creative program will be organized for the young guests.
