Children’s summer holidays at the Narach lake

In June-July the group of children with parents had an opportunity of holidays at the Naroch lake. The group consisted of 23 people, 5 adults and 18 children.

The places for living were provided by the Naroch church, food and transport – by the church of Ratomka town.

We had 3 rooms, 14 sleeping places. Because the group was larger than usual, there weren’t enough beds for everybody. So the part of people slept on the additional matrasses.

Those who hadn’t got place in the rooms were sleeping in the hall on a trampoline.

There was kitchen for cooking and eating. The tableware should have been brought.

There were 2 washbasins-toilets and one shower cabin for all. If there were a lot of people, they could form a small turn to shower.

Near our house is a small sports ground where our children play volleyball and football with locals.

It takes 15 minutes walking from Naroch lake to our house. The bottom of the lake is sandy, the water is clear. The beach is clean enough but sometimes there is some broken glass of bottles.

For entertainment at Naroch there are catamarans, they cost 3.500 rubles per hour. One day the owner of catamaran gave it to us for all day for free.

White lake is about 15 km from Naroch. There is no service but there is a forest and a lot of berries. The campfires in forest are not allowed, but the brazier is.

Blueberries are just yummy.

If it was raining outdoors, there is an opportunity to entertain indoors – contests, games, scenes, singing, choreography, jumping on the trampoline.

On Sunday everybody who wishes have the opportunity to visit the worship in the Evangelical church.
