There has come an information, that at the present time the government is developing the changes in the Statute about foster family.

Now the work about developing of document has been done and the project is going through an agreement in the Ministry of education and in the Ministry of health care and in the other interested offices.

In June-July the group of children with parents had an opportunity of holidays at the Naroch lake. The group consisted of 23 people, 5 adults and 18 children.

The places for living were provided by the Naroch church, food and transport – by the church of Ratomka town.

In Borisov started the building of a house for children under the partial state support. All the work about the building do the volunteers from Borisov church. That’s how the first floor of the house looks now inside.

Dear friends, I am pleased to inform you that on 29 and December 30, in the auditorium of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, Berson str.1a will held antialcoholic meeting (18.00 – 20.30). Nowadays this theme is extremely actual for quite a large number of people in our country. The purpose of the event - to give participants the opportunity to speak out and to study various points of view on solutions of the problem of drinking and smoking in our country.

On February 15, 2010 we will start the building of family type home in Borisov.

We have 4 boys; one of them is a handicapped child suffering cerebral palsy and sensorineural loss of hearing, another boy is a foster child. We are a large family, and on this basis, we take credit for building a house. Credit for 40 years, under 1 percent. Frankly speaking it is not enough for the whole house, but we hope that we will be able to finish it’s building.

We had been looking forward for this project for about 5 years! Now we come close to the start of the building the house!

As it has been told before, there was held the trip of our group of parents to the Naroch lake. The trip was successful, so it was decided to organize 3-4 such trips this summer season (not only Naroch, but the other places – Braslav lakes, Neman river and other).
The planned dates of trips: on 13th of July, on 18th of July, on 1st of August. If you want to take part – write to us (answer to this letter).

International seminar “Step to independent life” had been held since 21 till 22 of February. There was presented an innovative work experience of government and social organizations about improvement of life quality of children and young people with mental and/or multiple disturbances. Representatives of our charitable social association Tatyana Zhelengovskaya and Nataliya Yanushkevich had participated in the seminar. They had represented the first experience of living by teenagers from orphanage-foster home for disabled children with features of psychophysical development in families of city.
